Something about the spectacle that is Michael Jackson’s death has been bothering me and I wasn’t able to put my finger on it until this morning when I saw a story on Salon.com reminding me of the war in Afghanistan. I can’t remember the last time I heard anything about it.
Grandma died on Sunday. Funeral is tomorrow. Having a really hard time focusing at work today, for some reason.
Republicans are pissing me off much more than usual. The party is a total shitshow and I’m tired of it. As a Democratic voter I’d love to see the opposition put up a genuine effort at participating in democracy instead of shitting all over gay people, women who don’t want kids, the Democratic Party, et al.
